Bio

Alex Stoyanov is a Managing Director, Head of M&A at ROTH. He embarked on his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers/Barclays, where he served as an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group based in New York. Subsequently, he joined Goldman Sachs in the Natural Resources Group situated in Houston. During his tenure at Goldman Sachs, he primarily focused on M&A activities within the upstream, midstream, and refining sectors of the energy industry.

After spending several years in Houston, Mr. Stoyanov relocated to Goldman Sachs' London office. In this role, he concentrated on providing M&A advisory services to clients in the large-cap integrated oil and oil field services sectors across Europe and the Middle East. His expertise encompassed executing complex M&A transactions, including public mergers, take-private and special committee assignments, and defense against activist investors and raids. Throughout his career at Goldman Sachs, he contributed to over $130 billion worth of announced and completed M&A transactions.

Mr. Stoyanov graduated with an MBA from Columbia University in New York and is a CFA charterholder.
