Meeting with Mobile Group Vice President Highlights Growth & Strategic Significance

We recently met with Brian Dye, Group Vice President and General Manager of Citrix’s Mobile
Platforms Group. Dye is relatively new to Citrix, having joined this past summer from Symantec
(SYMC, Neutral, $26.01, $25 FV) where he had been for more than ten years in a variety of roles,
most recently as Senior Vice President of the Information Security Group.

Mobile is Small but Fast Growing and Central to CTXS’ Strategy. XenMobile exceeded its 2013
revenue goals of $30-$35 million and posted year-over-year growth of 90%, 50% and 100%
in 3Q14, 2Q14, and 1Q14, respectively, and these figures do not include sales of ShareFile or
NetScaler though there is a high attach rate for both. While still relatively small within CTXS,
the rapid growth and high pull through of related technologies is expected to have a meaningful
impact on CTXS’ growth over time, and CTXS also sees it as a key means of leveraging and
differentiating its core XenApp and XenDesktop businesses. (Read more)
