MKM Partners Internship Program
The MKM Summer Associate Program offers undergraduate students from highly selective colleges and universities the opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful projects in several areas of finance including Equity Research, Sales and Trading, and Macroeconomics. The program also includes various leadership development seminars with MKM employees and industry experts.
Internship positions at MKM Partners are matched with the interests and skill set of each student. Ideal qualities for prospective interns include demonstrated leadership abilities, strong quantitative skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Interns are assigned a supervisor who will oversee their work responsibilities and projects for the duration of the program while also being paired with a mentor outside of their departments to provide additional coaching and development.
Throughout the summer program, interns also participate in an ongoing leadership development seminar. Interns will participate in weekly sessions that allow them to meet and network with MKM employees and executives, including MKM Co-Founders Tom Messina and Steve Messina. Speaker topics include MKM’s business strategy, career management, specific products and the financial services industry as a whole.
